Operation We Care
Employees at MPS Hendersonville in North Carolina supported the recent Veterans Day by teaming up with ‘Operation We Care’ and put together over 100 care packages for US military personnel stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq. The care packages included toiletry items as well as snacks, movies and books from the U.S.A.
Scott Ward, General Manager at the MPS Hendersonville/East Flat Rock site, said: “The objective of ‘Operation We Care’ is to provide soldiers with a small piece of home, and make sure that they know that people are thinking about them. Employees at the site have been very generous and raised over $3,000 to support this project. Enclosed in each package was a letter from employees to acknowledge their dedication and thank them for their service to our country.”
MPS Hendersonville/East Flat Rock site, which supplies print and packaging to the multimedia market as well as a range of cartons for the healthcare sector, has also created a permanent display honoring veterans throughout the year.
