MPS Shines at Luxe Pack New York 2017
This May MPS attended one of the premier Luxury Packaging shows around the world, Luxe Pack New York. The event took place May 10-11 at New York City’s Pier 92 Convention Center set against the back drop of the Hudson River and the famous NYC Theater District. MPS showed well in a 10x20’ booth space that enabled us to display the best of the best in packaging. Reinforcing our global footprint, our showcase covered the gamut of all things luxury packaging including premium liquor, luxury cosmetics, confectionary and high end media from our facilities across Europe, Asia, and North America. In addition to luxury samples from our markets, MPS chose to showcase the most innovative, creative products and effects including samples from media, special packaging, sourcing, and healthcare which aroused the interest of many visitors as well as exhibitors. MPS attracted nearly 150 attendees and visitors to the booth including blue-chip companies like COTY, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Revlon, and Shiseido USA.
Of note were the many conversations sparked by the recent addition to the MPS family, Paris Art Labels. The booth featured two “look books” which showcased a variety of premium labels and shrink sleeves in collections organized by market. The stand featured a variety of tubes that drew a lot of attention and allowed our teams to promote our unmatched range of capabilities. Additional highlights from the MPS Luxe Pack New York showcase include:
- Liquor and Tube: The Basil Hayden tube which astutely combines a natural elements (a wood veneer label) with high end features (foil-like bronze section)
- Liquor and Rigid Packaging Display: the Facundo Pariaso stood out as an example of true luxury in one of Bacardi’s premium rums.
- Beauty, Folding Cartons, and Premium Decorative Effects: Younique’s MotionKote holiday carton which combines MotionKote, velvekote and texturekote to a dazzling effect
- Media and Special Packaging: the Kubo, showcased our special packaging capabilities and the ability to create mystery and magic through a package
