MPS Tzcew in Poland and MPS Germany have recently collaborated on the production of a stunning pack for the personal care company, BeiersdorfAG. The pack was developed for a new electric facial cleansing brush that was marketed under the Nivea, Pure Skin range. The brush is a luxury accessory that is different to other products on the market. It was essential that the packaging reflected its premium nature and its target audience.
The brush has been described as one of the beauty industry’s “biggest launches of 2017”.
MPS’s Steffen Hohenberger, Global Key Account Director Beauty & Personal Care, takes up the story: “Beiersdorf placed a lot of trust in MPS to develop this pack which was very challenging as it involved a number of different components.
MPS Tzcew produced the rigid box adding a matt and gloss varnish as well as hot-foil stamping to enhance its presentation. The rigid box holds a vac-form tray that neatly secures the product’s cable. The pack’s PMMA cover maximises product visibility allowing the consumer to clearly see the brush without opening the box. In addition, MPS supplied a divider and two plastic product trays to firmly secure the product in place. MPS also worked very closely with several other suppliers, and met an extremely tight deadline. The product has just been launched in France and will soon be offered for sale on Beiersdorf’s online channel in Germany. It is then expected to become available in other markets.”
