Experienced leaders provide strong vision
Marc Shore
Chief Executive Officer
Marc Shore, Chief Executive Officer, founded MPS in 2005 with the financial backing of Irving Place Capital. Having spent his entire 35-year career in the print and packaging industry, Marc brings both experience and vision to MPS.
And what is that vision? Strategic growth, both organically and through acquisitions, while investing in current operations to stay ahead of technological innovations. Marc has committed MPS to exceeding customer expectations for creativity, responsiveness, quality, delivery, and total value.
Prior to founding MPS, Marc was CEO of Shorewood Packaging, which grew under his direction from $72 million in revenue to $680 million, becoming the largest independent packaging company in North America. When International Paper acquired Shorewood in 2000, Marc stayed on to serve as a corporate officer until 2004.
Dennis Kaltman
President
Dennis Kaltman joined MPS in August 2005 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was named President in August 2007. In this role, Dennis focuses on providing the best total value to MPS customers and maintaining a competitive edge through technical innovation and personnel development.
Dennis brings more than 20 years of experience in the print and packaging industry. He started his career with Queens Group, where he was Senior Vice President from 1990 to 1998. When Queens Group was acquired by Shorewood Packaging in 1998, Dennis was named Senior Vice President. In that role, he became intimately involved in the acquisition and integration of numerous specialty packaging businesses.
Following the acquisition of Shorewood by International Paper in 2000, Dennis served as Senior Vice President of the Home Entertainment Packaging Division until he joined MPS.
William Hogan
EVP, CFO
Bill Hogan joined MPS in 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing his 30 years’ experience in the print and packaging industry to our leadership team. His career in finance began at Deloitte & Touche. Over his 13 years there, Bill worked with a variety of clients in the print and packaging industry. He eventually accepted a finance leadership role with one of those clients — Shorewood Packaging.
During his tenure at Shorewood, where he served as CFO from 2000-2001, Bill was responsible for the worldwide management of the finance and information system functions as well as business strategy and planning — including the establishment of a packaging business in China and the acquisition and integration of numerous specialty packaging businesses.
After Shorewood’s acquisition by International Paper, Hogan continued as CFO until 2004, focusing on business issues throughout Western and Eastern Europe. He returned to the United States and joined Computer Associates International as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Internal Control Officer. Shortly thereafter, Marc Shore asked Bill to rejoin him and Dennis Kaltman here at MPS. Bill is a certified public accountant.
